Mitchell is a career programmer and educator alike with years of experience in both fields, serving as a programmer and analyst for a variety of companies in California before making the leap to teaching. His expertise in the classroom – management, curriculum, and more! – likewise runs the gamut from geoscience to AP physics, engineering, and mathematics. Here, he found his true passion: helping others learn and, in turn, helping make the world a better, happier place.

When he’s not coaching sports, playing with beloved boxers Leonidas and Archie, or staying up to date on the latest scientific findings, Mitchell enjoys working on puzzles, solving math and logic problems, and spending time with his wife and best friend of more than thirty years.
